Ellie as a Reader
Ellie loves to read when she has time too. She first learned how to read when she was very young and her older sister Katie, and older brother Ron would take the time to sit down and help her learn how to pronounce her letter, from there she then learned words and then she eventually she could read. People love to read for all sorts of different reasons, mainly for entertainment or to learn or get information. Anyone can be a good reader, all you have to do is practice reading a lot. As long as you keep reading and try your hardest to learn more and more then you would be considered a good reader. Reading is easier when you read something that you're actually interested in, it's harder to read if you don't have any interest in what it is your reading. When looking for a good book just pick any book book off the shelf and read the back of the book. If you read the whole back and you're still interested after reading it and you just want to sit down, open up the book and start reading then you should definitely read that book. In general Ellie reads everyday that she has time so probably once or twice a week. She also loves reading when it's not for school, what she gets to pick that perfect book then she could just read all day long.
Ellie as a Writer
In General Ellie isn't really much of a writer. People first learn to write by practicing to write letters and then words then eventually they'll be able to write. People write to share information and ideas. In order to write well you have to practice a lot and be proud of what you wrote. Ellie doesn't really care for writing but she likes writing about any general topic. When Ellie decides what to write about she thinks of question or something that's been on her mind and then just write every little thing down about it. When people tell her that her writing is good then she becomes a more confident writer. Ellie don't often write at home except for the grocery list. She doesn't care for writing unless there's a topic, then it's okay.
